With this self-guided audio tour and ticket, you will be able to see all of Milan from the Duomo terrace, taking the elevator up there to save energy. Note! Elevators are only up – you still have to walk down.
The audio tour starts at Piazza Duomo with an exploration of the cathedral's history and architecture. Then, go to the gate named "Admission by Lift" located closer to Corso Vittorio Emanuele II, and take the elevator up to the rooftop.
Visit the Duomo's terrace at your own pace guided by an insightful audio tour in the app. Then, you may visit the Duomo Museum and the Church of San Gottardo. With the in-app audio tour, you will be lucky to plunge into the past and see such architectural beauties and breathtaking sites, which, for some reason, only old Milan architects were capable of. Duomo's most iconic masterpieces and hidden gems will be unravelled during this tour. Some of the finds might genuinely surprise you.

- •To ensure the quality of the download, please remember to do so before your visit
- •Please note that there is no staff at the meeting point or staff on site for this tour. You can start the tour at any time from the meeting point
- •An Android version 7.1+ or an iOS smartphone version 12+ is required for the audio guide. You will need around 100 MB of free space for the download
- •Arrive at the terraces by the reserved timeslot to start security checks for all the visitors
- •Shoulders and knees must be covered. Shorts, tank tops, and mini-skirts are not allowed.
- •The Church of San Gottardo & the Museum are closed on Wednesdays
- •The Veneranda Fabbrica del Duomo may change opening hours, access ways, visit duration, or any events planned at the Duomo if needed, check here (https://www.duomomilano.it/regolamenti/regolamento/)
- •The last entrance is at 17:50
- •The descent from the rooftops is always via stairs
- •Metal or glass objects, helmets & luggage aren't allowed. Bags will be checked at the entrance
- •Wheelchair access to the rooftops is only possible as far as the lower rooftop (limited to the area behind the choir). This service is available daily from 10:00 to 17:00, exclusively via the south elevator (77x106 x130 cm). If the south elevator is out of order, the north one (65x111x137 cm) will be used instead
- •Please return the devices by 18:00 to the Groups Ticket Office
- •Beyond these times, the rental service is always active at the Groups Ticket Office, on the right side of the Cathedral
- •An identity document is required as a security deposit

- •Arrive at the rooftop. Go to the northern entrance and scan your ticket at the turnstile, then take the stairs or lift
- •Duomo: scan your Milan Duomo tickets at the entrance
- •Duomo Museum & Church of San Gottardo (closed Wednesdays): scan your ticket directly at the entrance
- •Tickets are valid for 2 days (date selected and the following day), with one access for each area
